More recent work from my wonderful day spent with Briana and José-- often, when we're discussing plans for locations to shoot, I get excited when couples want to go to places that have actual stories and meaning behind them. In this case, we visited locations of their very first dates, the stoop they shared a kiss on, and their favorite beach in the city. These photos are just a glimpse into the incredible love these two share together. It's amazing to witness. You can't be anything other than glowing when you're around them, and I cannot wait to experience those moments during their wedding!
From the first time I met Vera and Chad (at my most favorite coffee shop in all of Chicago) I knew I was in for a treat. They met me on the busiest day ever in the middle of Wicker Park Fest and we got to know each other over giant vanilla lattes. They wanted to show true pieces of their every day relationship: coffee and lox bagels in the morning, the gym they met at, their favorite parks and neighborhoods. Through photographing them, I saw their story unfold before me and it was the most delightful thing. They surprised me with a tall bottle of Broo-Doo from Three Floyds (I'm quite the craft beer enthusiast!) so I'm pretty sure I've made instant friends. Vera, Chad, I can't wait for your wedding. You two are the bee's knees.
